JILI on Low-End Phones: A Performance Review

The studio’s least discussed strength is engineering. On a four-year-old Android phone that matters more than art direction.

The studio builds families, not one-offs. Recognising the families tells you what a new release will play like before you open it.

A section-by-section inventory of a typical Yono-branded gaming app, and which parts are games as opposed to marketing.

The third slice of JILI’s catalogue gets little attention. It is also where the studio takes its only real design risks.
